What
Our Graduates Have to Say
There is never an instance where an
instructor is lecturing straight from a book or lesson plan.
Each of our instructors, especially our core instructors for Anatomy,
Physiology, Nutrition, and Foundation Massage, are veterans
in their field and speak more from years of experience and learning
than from any textbook.

My two favorite teachers were David
and Jeffery. It was their passion and ease with which they teach.
To me it seemed as if their crafts were just such a part of who
they are. They made class fun and for
me, wanting to know more, wanting to push myself further, wanting
to understand the mystery of the human body and how it works.

Helen is truly
the heart and soul of Healing Spirits. She is continually
evolving as a woman. Her vulnerability allows for that in
her students. Although she has very professional boundaries, she
creates the space for a deep knowing that we as students, are too,
through our work, helping to bring more heart, more balance into
the world.
Helen takes great lengths to integrate
the student's knowing on all levels: mind, body and spirit.
Helen truly believes that you are only as good of a healer as you
are, yourself, healed. Much emphasis is
placed on personal growth and change. Healing Spirits
therefore turns out exceptional practitioners, unique to their own
self and form, practicing from the heart and hands, rather than
the head. This is not a school for the follower, it's a school for
the leader that emphasizes individuality and depth.

I would recommend Healing Spirits because
of the close knit community - both class and alumni. The small class
size and one on one attention (no question goes unanswered). The
high level of expertise and passion of the instructors. The amazing
quality of therapists who graduate. I always
know that getting a massage from a Healing Spirits grad is going
to include a heartfelt, nurturing experience with a quality of touch
that is hard to come by elsewhere.
I have received
ongoing support, as I know so many other grads have as well.
Always recommendation letters, advice on challenging clients/pathologies,
advice on interviewing (what is standard to ask for, what other
pertinent questions to ask before accepting a job, even where to
go for a possible job openings, etc) Grads call constantly needing
advice, and they always get it. Also, yearly grads are asked to
suggest the continuing ed classes they would like to see offered.
